Camotes Islands
Camotes' main white-sand bay, with a dune ridge behind the beach
A wide bay on the south-western side of Pacijan, and the beach most visitors to the Camotes come for. The sand is white and fine, the water shallow, and a low sand ridge runs behind the shoreline with a road and a handful of resorts along it.
It faces west, which makes the sunsets the fixed point of the day here. The bay is calm enough for children and long enough that it never feels full.
Ferry from Danao City on Cebu's east coast to Consuelo on Pacijan, about two hours, then twenty minutes by road to the bay.
