Bantayan
A day-trip island off Bantayan, ringed by sandbars at low water
A small privately held island north of Santa Fe, reached by outrigger in about half an hour. Sandbars run off it in two directions and are exposed as the tide drops, which is the shape most photographs of it show.
There is a landing fee, a few huts and not much else. Snorkelling is best on the far side away from the boat moorings.
About thirty minutes by outrigger from the beaches at Santa Fe on Bantayan Island.
