About This Place
Mactan's eastern shore is the closest stretch of clear water to the airport, which makes it the standard first and last stop of a Cebu trip.
Most of the good sand sits inside resort property, and day passes are the normal way in. The diving is the real draw: the drop-off at Marigondon and the wrecks off Talima are twenty minutes out by banca.
