Planning ahead
The next Pasigarbo sa Sugbo hasn’t been scheduled yet, and the last edition ran August 6–9, 2026. We won’t guess at dates, so there’s nothing to book a stay against — but you can browse stays in Cebu or plan a trip around what you do know.
About This Festival
Pasigarbo sa Sugbo is the festival of festivals: contingents that won their own town's celebration through the year meet in one arena and dance against each other.
Because it gathers the province rather than one town, it is the single best day to see what the Cebu festival calendar actually looks like — Kadaugan, Haladaya, Kabkaban and a dozen others, back to back.
What to Expect
- Seated arena performances rather than a street parade
- Sessions running afternoon into the evening
- Contingents from across the province, judged and scored
Getting There
The Capitol sits at the north end of Osmeña Boulevard, a short taxi ride from anywhere in the city centre. Parking around the grounds fills early on performance days.
