Tartanilla Festival 2012

Tartanilla Festival is held  in Cebu City and is a horse- drawn carriage heritage by reviving the oldest mode of transportation  so called calesa which they used for travelling  around  the citys  streets. The festival coincide the city’s celebration of  the country’s Independence Day which falls on June 12^th every year. The  highlights of  this festival  that  includes parade of horse racing  competition, have decorated tartanilla, a best bazaar and flea market.
